My new toy: Golden Half Chelsea Maika Edition

Just got this one for RM 195.00 with a roll of film.
Hon showed me this link http://www.theclickshop.net/ and saw this unit. Made my order and went to pick it up from this young gentleman called Adrian, the boss :), Apparently he is the legit distributor / retailer for such camera in Malaysia.

The Perils of Procrastination

I found this quote when i was googling around for more info on the new business venture im gonna participate:
Business Building Tip From Stephanie Davis

Imagine for just a moment that you had to choose between being called a failure, or being called a procrastinator…which would you choose? Most people (if they had to be called either) would prefer to be called a procrastinator. The reason is simple, “failure” implies that you actually tried something and didn’t accomplish it. “Procrastinator” implies that you never really tried – thus preserving the fantasy that had you REALLY tried to do it, you would have succeeded. This little mental trap is dangerous because by soothing your own image of yourself with procrastination, you keep yourself from going out there and achieving real success. You need to be courageous and thick skinned. Go for it! Do or Die! At least you won’t go down without having really tested your skills. Even if you don’t make it, so what? Just get up and go again! A life filled with action, success and failure is a much better life than a life of procrastination and fantasies about what you could do if you tried. Besides, the most successful people in the world will tell you – if you want to succeed faster, fail faster! They know that in order to succeed, you have to fail to learn what works and what doesn’t work. There is really no such thing as failure – only quitting.

3 of Wands

Recently, i was approached by one of my good friend to hear out one of the business opportunity. It about being a business owner for a well known household product around the world. I am very attracted with the business and was thinking on where to seek for capital. I shared with my mom about it today and she is willing to support me. Since then, i have been thinking about it and very certain that i want to make it work.

I did a reading for myself and pulled a card - 3 of wands for myself in regards to this business opportunity
Three is the number of growth and expansion. Number one contains the idea, number two is the pair who can carry it out and number three bears the fruit. The three also signifies initial completion, the first stage achieved.

The man we saw depicted in the two of wands reappears. He has left the safety of the castle and is now looking out over wider horizons. The three wands staked in the ground suggest that he has made his initial decision, but he is now ready to proceed further. The distant pyramids stand for ancient wisdom and the ships represent the imagination. The presence of the salamander indicates the fire connection. Efforts are rewarded in this card and an initial completion is achieved. It is a card of satisfaction and challenge. It could be likened to someone working single mindedly until a job is finished, only to realize this is just stage one and the next phase will follow fast.

Lunch Date with Hon at Meatwork@Solaris

I had a very mixed feeling over this place. I don't know how to pen down my review about this outlet. Is it good? Is it bad? I guess i settled for so-so. Why? There is nothing spectacular about it. Despite the great service, good interior and settings, it didn't leave us feeling satisfied, 'it was worth it' or 'i definitely come back again'.

These pictures were taken during our luncheon. As you can see the place is pretty much empty. When we left there were only 2 patrons. Probably hardly anyone would wanna have steak or meat during the day,
When we first reach there, the first thing i did was checking out the menu, eye-ing for the right meal for my appetite.

The only meal that we both really enjoyed is the mushroom soup. It was really yummy. Generous portion for one person. I actually burned my tongue because couldn't wait to taste it. I wish they can put more of the croutons. This meal cost me RM 15.00. Probably a bit expensive for a soup but i guess it is ok when it is yummy

This is Hon's meal.
It is called 'Mixed grilled london house (steak) with mashed potato and vegetable salad beef with herbs'
This meal cost him RM 35.90.
Hon was a bit disappointed because it is a burger steak. Not up to his expectation. :)

This is my meal.
I settled for Honey & Dijon Grilled chicken with tortilla wrap. I like the sauce. Taste like salsa sauce but i'm not sure because it is kinda thick - macam chilli sauce. The fillet chicken breast was a bit dry. Other than that, i enjoyed it.
This dish cost me RM 20.00.

Our drinks - Starfruit & Carrot Orange Juice

The decoration or standard setting on each table in the outlet.

My overall experience of having luncheon at this place is good. Good place to try out for Meat Lovers. Try go there for dinner. Probably it will set a different experience altogether. My only concern is ....based on my experience...this place is forgettable. No theme.

Hon, what say you?

My first Punjabi suits

I have 2 of my saree and turned it into punjabi suit. I get a very good recommendation from one of my gal frens to this tailor in Brickfield called Sree Ji Tailor. Very good workmanship. I am very pleased and wore the pink suit to my training event today. Received few compliments from colleagues and a stranger (a lady) while waiting for the lift. I guess i made the right choice. The tailor is very friendly, professional and creative. RM100.00 buck for 2 suits. I think its worth it. I will probably send my other 2 saree and make it to Punjabi suits. At least, i can wear it to work.
